O’Shaquie Foster got Shakur Stevenson’s attention.
Foster dominated Emanuel Navarrete on Saturday in San Antonio, dropping him twice in the final round on the way to a unanimous decision. He added Navarrete’s IBF and WBO super featherweight titles to his WBC belt.
Stevenson gave Foster his credit on X.
Helluva fighter. He will never give me my credit but I’ll be real tonight, he showed his level. That’s a challenge that would get me out of bed. Let’s do it whenever he’s ready.
I’ll be here after his undisputed run!
Foster, 33, may have one more fight at 130 pounds first. Anthony Cacace defends the WBA title against Nick Ball on Dec. 19, and the winner is expected to push for an undisputed fight with Foster.
Stevenson holds the WBO super lightweight title and is now a free agent after leaving Zuffa Boxing. Foster has long called for the fight, and a meeting at 135 pounds could make sense down the line.
