Manny Pacquiao's Possible Opponent For Fury-Joshua Card

Eddie Hearn says Joe Cordina has agreed terms to fight Manny Pacquiao on the Fury vs. Joshua card in Cardiff, though it's unclear if the fight will be made.

Joe Cordina is ready to fight Manny Pacquiao in his hometown. Now it is up to Pacquiao.

Eddie Hearn told The Ring’s Louis Hart that Cordina has agreed to his side of a fight with Pacquiao on the Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua card on Dec. 11 in Cardiff.

Eddie Hearn tells me @RingMagazine that Joe Cordina has agreed his terms to fight Manny Pacquiao in Cardiff. Still unsure if the fight gets made or not though.

Pacquiao hasn’t fought since his July 2025 draw with Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight title. His planned September rematch with Floyd Mayweather on Netflix was postponed, and Netflix is widely reported to still owe him a fight.

Pacquiao has also been linked to Shakur Stevenson and Amir Khan for the Cardiff card.

Cordina, a Cardiff native, is a two-time IBF super featherweight champion. He lost the belt to Anthony Cacace by eighth-round stoppage in May 2024 and has won twice since, most recently against Gabriel Flores last December.

Cordina has also been linked to WBO lightweight champion Abdullah Mason after a planned fight earlier this year fell through.

Mayweather, meanwhile, still plans to rematch Pacquiao in 2027.
