Terence Crawford Mocks Ryan Garcia for Calling Out Floyd Mayweather

Ryan Garcia says he and Floyd Mayweather have a deal. Terence Crawford already knows how it ends.

Garcia announced on X that he and Mayweather have agreed to fight for his WBC welterweight title.

Trust me at first I thought this was bull—- But it’s real Floyd and I agree to a fight 147 for the WBC welterweight championship of the world 50-0 vs The current champ

Crawford fired back on X, questioning Garcia’s choice of opponent before making his pick.

I know you not fighting nobody old and outta they prime. Shouldn’t you be fighting all these young hungry in prime lions?

P.S Floyd gone beat yo a– if y’all fight.

Garcia, 28, won the WBC title earlier this year with a decision over Mario Barrios. He then knocked out Conor Benn in the second round in his first defense.

Mayweather, 49, held the WBC welterweight title twice. He beat Carlos Baldomir for it in 2006 and reclaimed it from Victor Ortiz in 2011, holding it until 2015. He hasn’t fought professionally since beating Conor McGregor in 2017.

Many remain skeptical. Mayweather is targeting a 2027 rematch with Manny Pacquiao and has said he and McGregor may fight again. He has not publicly confirmed a deal with Garcia.

Garcia has been calling for Mayweather for weeks. He has also been feuding with Crawford and has tried to lure the retired star back into the ring.
