Canelo Alvarez got his title back on Saturday. Conor McGregor wants to know how many people watched.
Alvarez regained the WBC super middleweight title with a decision win over Christian Mbilli on Oct. 31 at The Venue in Riyadh. The fight streamed on DAZN pay-per-view.
A day later, McGregor took to X to question the event’s business and claim he’s in a different league.
How many views did the Canelo fight get? How many in attendance? Gate? Man I outdo ALL of these people in sales. Majorly. EVERY SINGLE ONE. With ease. Maybe even combined. I don’t even be trying.
McGregor hasn’t fought since July, when he injured his knee early and lost to Max Holloway at UFC 329. He’s still rehabbing and has no return date, but he said he’ll put real effort into promoting his next fight, which he called his last.
I was on the same time as the World Cup semi final and still done all them numbers in that last b—s— that I’ve to sit with for another few months before I return. I’m going to actually try to sell the fight for my next one. My final fight. See what numbers I can generate. Keep outdoing my own records.
