Devin Haney vs. Shakur Stevenson could happen in November, according to Bill Haney.
Speaking with Coach Malachi, Haney’s father said the two sides have agreed to a 145-pound catchweight with no rehydration limit. He named Nov. 28 as the target date, and Atlanta is the likely location. Nothing has been made official.
145 is on for November 28. We’re getting ready. No more excuses … I’m not waiting for no f—-ing announcement. I keep it real. We’re working towards this, and now we have an agreement.
Stevenson had initially pushed for a rehydration clause.
Stevenson won the WBO 140-pound title in January with a wide decision over Teofimo Lopez, becoming a four-division champion. He then signed with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing.
Haney has not fought since November 2025, when he beat Brian Norman Jr. for the WBO welterweight title to become a three-division champion. A mandatory defense against Keyshawn Davis fell through after Davis withdrew.
Haney has a multi-fight deal with DAZN. It is not clear whether Stevenson’s Zuffa contract would allow him to fight on the platform.
