Amir Khan could come out of retirement to face Manny Pacquiao on the Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua card.
BoxingScene reports that Netflix wants Pacquiao on the December 11 show at Principality Stadium in Cardiff. The streamer sees the Hall of Famer as a way to draw a massive audience across Asia and beyond.
His opponent is not yet known. According to the report, retired former champions Khan and Danny Garcia have both been proposed.
Pacquiao had been linked to Shakur Stevenson for the card. Dana White, Stevenson’s promoter, said that fight was never on the table. Zuffa Boxing has since sent an offer to Gary Antuanne Russell for a unification bout with Stevenson.
Khan, a former unified super lightweight champion, has not fought since losing to bitter rival Kell Brook by sixth-round stoppage in February 2022 in Manchester. He retired after the fight.
Khan later received a two-year ban, backdated to April 2022, after testing positive for the banned substance ostarine. The suspension expired in April 2024.
Pacquiao, 47, last fought in July 2025, when he fought to a majority draw with then-WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.
Fury vs. Joshua appears back on track after several days of uncertainty, with the two set to face off at a press conference in London today.
