Dana White has put a big name behind the Zuffa Boxing 11 cold open. In a post promoting the card, White shared a hype video narrated by Tom Hardy, with the show set for Saturday, September 26 at Copper Box Arena in London and streaming live on Paramount+.
The video mixes fight action, training footage and fighters on the Zuffa roster, including Craig Richards, and leans on Hardy’s voice to sell a promotion still building its identity in the UK market.
The casting has a fight-fan hook of its own. Hardy played a mixed martial arts fighter in the film Warrior, so a narrator with real combat sports credibility is a natural fit for a promotion that comes out of the UFC world.
The main event is Johnny Fisher (14-1, 12 KOs) against Michael Pirotton (12-2, 6 KOs) over 10 rounds. It is Fisher’s first fight for Zuffa since leaving Matchroom, and it follows his first pro loss to Dave Allen last year. Fisher is the clear favorite, and a strong cold open is exactly the kind of moment Zuffa needs to make its London debut feel like an event.
