Mike Tyson wants Anthony Joshua to face Deontay Wilder after his fight with Tyson Fury.
Tyson shared his thoughts in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid. He has already backed Fury ahead of their December 11 fight at Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Tyson said Fury handles pressure well, but he expects Joshua to have the faster hands.
Tyson [Fury]’s always been known to handle pressure well, but it’s going to be interesting to watch this fight. I know Joshua’s going to be throwing faster punches, but his punches can’t be faster than Deontay Wilder’s.
Tyson then named the matchup he wants to see next.
I wanna see him [Joshua] fight Deontay.
Fury and Joshua meet for the vacant WBA “super” heavyweight title. Fury beat Arslanbek Makhmudov by decision and stopped Mariusz Wach when Wach’s corner pulled him after seven rounds.
Joshua was knocked down twice in the first round by Kristian Prenga in July. He got up and stopped Prenga in the second round.
Joshua and Wilder never met despite years of talks. Wilder, a former WBC champion, beat Derek Chisora by split decision in April.
