Zuffa Boxing has signed former bantamweight world champion Jason Moloney, adding the Australian contender to a roster that continues to grow heading into the second half of 2026.

Moloney, 29-4 with 20 knockouts, won the WBA bantamweight title in 2023 by majority decision over Vincent Astrolabio, successfully defended it against Saul Sanchez, then lost the belt to Yoshiki Takei in Tokyo. He has since won back-to-back bouts and is currently ranked number three by the WBC at 118 pounds, positioning him well for a title shot with the right promotional backing.

Moloney commented on his reasons for joining the promotion.

I love what Zuffa is doing, giving the fans great fights every time and matching the best against the best. That’s what I’m all about, fighting the best and becoming the best.

The signing continues a busy period for Zuffa Boxing, which has also confirmed deals with Jai Opetaia, Conor Benn, Edgar Berlanga, Richardson Hitchins, and Nasheed Smith, while Shakur Stevenson has reportedly joined their roster. The promotion has been active at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas with regular fight nights while pursuing larger names and higher-profile matchups as its profile grows.
