Tyson Fury is blaming Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn as his fight with Joshua appears to be in jeopardy.
The two British heavyweights were officially announced earlier this week to meet on Friday, December 11, at Principality Stadium in Cardiff. The fight is set to headline a Netflix and The Ring event.
Reports now say issues behind the scenes could stop the fight from happening. One sticking point is the role of Zuffa Boxing’s Dana White. Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, has repeatedly tried to keep White out of the event, pointing to a clause in the contract that bars him from promoting it.
Fury responded on social media by accusing Joshua and Hearn of looking for a way out.

He put most of the blame on Hearn.
It’s mainly to do with Eddie Hearn’s ego. He’s making up a million different things and threatening ‘we’re not gonna fight.’ You little coward.
Fury then turned his attention to Joshua.

The Ring’s Mike Coppinger has reported that cruiserweight champion David Benavidez is being explored as a possible replacement opponent for Fury. Coppinger also reported that Terence Crawford vs. Ryan Garcia is being considered to fill the date if Fury vs. Joshua falls apart.
