Jaylen Brown boxed in Nigeria, and he says he did nothing at all to get ready for it.
The Philadelphia 76ers forward posted footage of the bout, which was arranged in partnership with one of his charity initiatives. Answering a comment on Instagram, Brown said he did zero prep for it. Given the setup, it played closer to a controlled spar than a fight.
It is not the first time this summer. Brown squared off with a local on the street in Morocco earlier in the offseason while travelling with former Celtics teammate Tacko Fall, and the clip went around.
There is family history behind the interest. His father, Quenton Brown, was a WBU heavyweight champion.
