Darren Till wants to be the next MMA fighter on Jake Paul’s record.
Till took to X to tell Paul he is waiting for the contract. He pointed to Paul’s wins over Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, Mike Perry, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
@jakepaul stop f—-ing around. Another MMA fighter for you to beat.
Paul recently named Till on a 15-fight hit list of opponents he wants before retiring, alongside Tom Aspinall and Francis Ngannou. Paul hasn’t fought since Anthony Joshua knocked him out and broke his jaw last December.
Till is coming off a unanimous decision win over Yoel Romero at BKFC 94 in Manchester on Sept. 26. He has one fight left on the three-fight deal he signed with BKFC earlier this year.
BKFC president David Feldman is chasing a big name for Till’s next bare-knuckle bout. He is trying to bring Tommy Fury over, but he told Bloody Elbow that the Fury family has a problem with Till.
That’s the one thing we’ve gotta get over. We’ll try to get over that in the next couple of weeks, but if we can’t, that fight is not gonna happen.
Maybe it will happen. Money talks in this business. Money erases a lot of bad feelings in this business.
Feldman said Till has earned a big payday at this point in his career.
He’s at a stage in his career where he’s accomplished a lot, he wants to make money, and he deserves to make money.
We are definitely going to have, in the next three to four weeks, something very, very exciting to announce for Darren Till.
