Dana White teased that he may be willing to help Floyd Mayweather following reports that the boxing legend lost $175 million after being defrauded by a former investment manager.

White addressed the situation at the Zuffa Boxing 8 post-fight press conference, speaking to MMA Fighting.

That’s a tough one. I’ve talked to him about it, but I don’t know enough about it. You hear all of these different stories. I think you have to wait to see how this thing’s going to play out in court for him. When somebody works as hard as he did and amasses the type of wealth that he had and they lose it, or it gets stolen, or whatever the deal is, it’s horrible. And it happens a lot in professional sports. So who knows? Anything is possible. Maybe we could do something and figure it out for him.

Mayweather filed suit in a New York court for fraud and breach of fiduciary duty against a former investment manager, per an ESPN report. White and Mayweather previously co-promoted Mayweather’s 2017 fight against Conor McGregor, which Mayweather won by tenth-round TKO in the richest fight in boxing history at the time.

Mayweather is currently dealing with multiple legal and financial issues simultaneously, including felony charges in Nevada over an alleged $200,000 bad check to a Las Vegas jeweler and a reported $7.2 million tax lien.
